on IRC!

The Twitter Vote Report chat room is on an IRC server freenode (generally: irc.freenode.net), and then you join the room that you want to chat in:  #votereport.

 

A quick guide to IRC: you'll need a client.  Some options:

 

• Chatzilla is a plug-in for Firefox.
• web-based: http://www.mibbit.com/
• If you prefer to use a standalone client:

  win: http://www.mirc.com/

  mac: http://colloquy.info/

 

Once you bring your client up, you need to connect to the server.  (For example, using Chatzilla select freenode from the list of "available networks")    Once you connected choose the #votereport room (command: /join #votereport). You may also want to choose a nickname (command: /nick <nick name>).
